Our mission is to reach the kids in our church and community, communicating God’s incredible love for them and what it looks like to be a Jesus follower in a fun and creative environment where they can be free to laugh and learn.
first steps.
Babies newborn through age 3 will feel loved and taken care of while they're at church. Our First Steps volunteers exemplify God's powerful love by spending time and caring for our newborns and toddlers.
jump start.
For kids ages 3-5, this is where the FUN first meets the LEARNING! Kids will learn how big God's love is and why it's so important to love like him. We do lots of fun activities and crafts to help the kids start to learn more about Jesus.
discovery.
Kids in grades 1-5 will dive deeper into the Bible and into the practical application of being a Jesus follower. The kids will learn about God's example and how THEY can be world changers through their example as well!
what to expect.
check in.
When you arrive at church one of our Kids Volunteers will help you sign in your child and direct you where to bring your child. Check in is one of the most important parts of Kids Ministry!
safety.
The safety of our kids is our number one priority. When a child is checked in they get a security sticker so that we know which kids we have in Kid's Ministry. This helps us to keep track of everyone! All of our volunteers have criminal background checks and have been hand-picked. We always have people on the lookout monitoring the spaces on both floors!
One of our most important goals in Kids Ministry is to create a flow in learning from the time they are in First Steps until the time they graduate high school! We want each of those transitions to be easy and seamless. By running a program and curriculum that is relevant to your child’s age, they get to be a part of something that they will want to continue in as they grow!
